The Prometheus Seminar, A New Play by Asa Leininger, will be produced in cooperation with Actors Theatre of Missouri at Devising Original Theatre Springfield's 2025 Fringe Festival (July 10-13). Meg Rice, who previously directed Asa's first produced play, Amaranth: A Farcical Tragedy, to great acclaim, is slated to direct. So far, industry professionals are praising The Prometheus Seminar for its clever writing, describing it as a cross between Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot and William Shakespeare's King Lear.
